Villa weddings are more private affair and than those held in traditional hotels or resorts. For this reason – more and more couples chose private villa as the favorite wedding venue. Villa weddings also offer flexibility in terms of food & beverage arrangement to suit specific budget. As a bonus you can party up to midnight at villa.

It’s handy to know some main costs associated with villa wedding so that you can start planning financial side of the wedding.

• Villa rental cost in low season from US$ 1,000++ (a decent standard 3 bedroom villa) – US$ 9,261++ (luxury 10 bedroom villa) for 3 nights stay. Some villas run special discount up to 25% off
• Function fee ranges from US$ 1,000 – US$3,000
• Banjar fee from US$ 250 – US$ 450 depending on the location of your venue
• Food starting from US$ 40/head up to US$ 85/head for a luxury dinner feast
• Drink (non alcoholic – free flow for up to 8 hours service) US$ 25 – US$ 30/head
• Sound System & Lighting from US$ 1,000 – US$ 2,000 for power generator, general lighting, decorative lighting, standard sound system
• Flower & decor from US$ 1,500 – US$ 4,000
• Marque or tent in case of rain US$ 1,000 – US$ 2,000 depending on type of tent and number of the guests

  One thing to remember is that if you had the “exact” same wedding elsewhere in the world it would probably end up cost you double than what you spend for your Bali wedding, especially when you consider the breathtaking wedding venue,  sumptuous meal, beautiful flower & decoration and high level of service. To get these stuff anywhere else in the world would be extremely expensive!

  Glossary

• Banjar Fee – a fee charged by local village authority known as “banjar” in return for approval for you to hold wedding event in their neighborhood)
• Function Fee – a fee charged by villa owner or villa management for any event (social gathering or celebration) held inside villa premises where the total number of guests exceeds double the sleeping capacity of the villa or when a significant amount of equipment (such as an external sound system, catering, decor) is brought onto a villa’s premises.
